‘We are the 99%’ in Serbia. What we stand for, clips from protests etc. Translations of titles are in the description of the video. Looks best in 720p.
Revolution is not only about going out in the streets. It’s also about knowing what is important. :)

Occupy Wall Street activists, one wearing a Guy Fawkes mask, rest on a sidewalk during a May Day demonstration in New York, on May 1, 2012.
Belgrade, Serbia, April 10th
Guy Fawkes was here :D
Spraying out the billboards during the election campaign in Serbia. STOP fucking wasting budget money on empty promises!
Belgrade, Serbia, 17.03.2012.
A gathering in front of the Department of Justice, the institution that had its website defaced by an Anonymous under a nick SunTzu. He left a messaged saying that the department is corrupt cause normal people get harsh penalties, while criminals and crooks get away with their crime solely due to the fact that they have a lot of money and influence. Couple of days later he got arrested and they want to give him a penalty of 5 years! Curious fact: even rapists don’t get that much in Serbia, yet a smart 19 year old will???
#Belgrade, 12.03.2012.
#Anonymous arrested just because he was expressing an opinion!
The police arrested a lone protester who was wearing a #GuyFawkes mask and a message ‘You are not worthy of him’.
The background of this event is the following: Serbian prime minister Zoran Djindjic was killed in 2003. He was a very charismatic leader, particularly favored by the young. The killing shocked Serbia when it happened. His former colleagues from the Democratic party abuse the memory of Zoran Djindjic each year to gain political points. They know that the people see late Zoran as a positive figure. This ploy has become so freaking obvious that every year when we hear the politicians on the anniversary of his death we know what to expect. It’s disgusting on so many levels. This year a brave man stood up to that bullshit and he picked the Guy Fawkes mask to express his discontent. Cops dressed in civilian clothes immediately arrested him since they were ordered so by the regime (which is now the Democratic party - but they are faaaar away from democracy, more like plutocracy and thievery). Note that this guy did not do anything violent, he just walked in silence and wanted to express his opinion.
Instead of arresting real criminals (banksters, politicians, CEOs, drug dealers) the police in Spain have arrested a group of people who are fighting for civil liberties (that is what Anonymous are - freedom fighters). We have gathered for a short while in front of the Spanish cultural center (Cervantes institute) in Knez Mihajlova street to express solidarity with our Spanish colleagues.
We are legion.
We do not forgive.
We do not forget.
We are everywhere.
